Waze
Waze is one of the easiest ways to get directions. It's a helpful driving app that provides live routing based on community-driven real-time traffic and road info. Features turn-by-turn voice guided navigations and live maps.
Google Translate
Break through language barriers with Google Translate. Translate 80 languages, listen to your translations spoken aloud, and directly translate speech and handwriting.
WhatsApp uses your phone's Internet connection to send messages so you can avoid fees. It can also be used on your computer. With voice calls, you can talk or video with friends and family for free, even if they're in another country. One things I've learned when travelling internationally is that everyone expects you to have WhatsApp.
